The Finesse Academy aims to provide top class coaching to committed players willing to learn and listen in order to improve in all aspects of their individual game.

Our intense training style with a specific focus on the technical side of the game has been extremely well received over the years with many of our players showing evident signs of improvement.

As a result several of our players have gone on to sign for professional football academies and we now have a few professional footballers developed from the Finesse Academy.
We believe that talent and hard work must go hand in hand for player development.
We encourage individuals to feel confident on the ball and to showcase their skills.

our motto

The goal of the Finesse Academy is to develop talented young players into the best possible version of themselves. The Finesse Academy uses the TIPS model, which stands for Technique, Intelligence, Personality and Speed. P and S are generally made up from the players personal make up and genes these attributes a coach can only develop so far, I and T can always be developed further. The Finesse Academy trains at a high intensity with the philosophy of every player must come out of training having touched the football a minimum of a thousand times.

One on One Training

If you are a keen player willing to learn as much as you can and develop at a faster rate Finesse can offer one to one training with one of our experienced and skilled coaches.

These sessions are tailored to suit the player’s specific requirements.

Small Group Sessions

We have a number of sessions available during the week, we offer 7 spaces per age group from U7’s-U16’s. By keeping the player to coach ratio small allows for increased specification.

Position Specific Sessions

During the holidays we offer bespoke position specific training sessions. Players learn to play like Rio Ferdinand-Cannavaro as a Center Back, Ashley Cole & Dani Alves as attacking full backs, Kroos-Pogba-Iniesta in the middle of the park, Ronaldo-Messi-Mbappe-Neymar as forwards. The Finesse Academy studies the movements and techniques used by the best players in the world to support our Position Specific Programme.

3V3 Tournament

The Last Saturday of every month we host a 3V3 tournament with the players managing themselves this is to increase Leadership, Communication & Teamwork skills

Showcase Games

Quarterly we play in a Showcase Game allowing the selected players from the Finesse Academy to play in front of Professional Football Scouts. This has been a huge success and having lots of players rather signed into professional clubs or having a fantastic experience been on trial at a professional football club

Development Games/Tournaments

We aim to play 5-10 development games throughout the calendar year.
These games/Tournaments can be anything from 3V3, 5V5, 7V7, 9V9, 11V11 and Futsal.
